Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Tower 28 BeachPlease Luminous Tinted Balm in the shade Golden Hour.
These products are so famous online I had to make a huge order on Cult Beauty to figure out why. To be honest, cream blushes are more of a spring/summer thing to me but my skin is a bit dry at the moment so I thought I could benefit from them.
I apologize because the quality of the pictures isn’t great. To make the product look true to colour I had to really lighten it up and since the packaging is transparent it was very tricky. The colour of the blush is real though, it’s just the packaging that looks washed out.
You can buy it here for 20$.
COLOUR
This shade is a sun-kissed orange.
PACKAGING
It comes in a really pretty box that has a swatch to see the colour, I think is very cute.
The packaging itself is very classic and simple, the shade is written at the bottom and there’s also a description on how to use it which is really nice.
It feels very sturdy and chic.

PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
The formula is quite soft and smooth, it has a medium-high pigmentation. You have to be careful or you’ll get the clown effect.
It isn’t streaky or clumpy, it doesn’t enhance pores or texture and I like it both on top of powder or underneath.
I feel like the shade looks lighter on than in the pan which isn’t a bad thing in my opinion, you’ll definitely be able to see it in the swatch.
APPLICATION
I use a stippling brush that’s not too dense and it’s very easy to use. You can use your fingers but I find I have more control with the brush. Remember to clean the rush a bit on the back of your hand and build the colour slowly.
SWATCH

LASTING POWER
On me, it lasts around 8 hours before starting to fade which is awesome for a cream.
RATINGS:
- Colour: 10/10
- Longevity: 9/10
- Application: 7/10
- Formula: 9/10
- Pigmentation: 9/10
- Packaging: 10/10
GRADE: A–
This blush is stunning, it looks like you are naturally flushed, I prefer when blushes are less pigmented because it helps to avoid the clown effect but that’s ever more true with creams. This one is quite intense but if you use it a little at a time you should be fine. The lasting power is amazing. The colour is perfect for every day and it will look good with any kind of look.

I’ve never tried a cream blush before. It looks beautiful, and I love that it lasted you 8 hours!
It’s surprising for a cream blush!
Love how subtle this is. I’m not much of a blush person so this would be perfect
You’ll love it x
I haven’t ever tried a cream blush before but this looks so good. I really like that you mentioned how it could work well on drier winter skin too.
Yes! It’s quite hydrating
I’m so glad you mentioned that it may look a bit clownish. I think it would be a bad look on me but it looks so pretty in the packaging.
You just have to be careful and not overdue it x
Although it appears this is a US-made product, I’ve never heard of this brand before. I LOVE lip balms at this time of year, though, and always appreciate a product that can do double duty – love the color, too!
It’s a newer brand so maybe that’s why you haven’t seen it. I love a double duty product too!
I like that it’s for lips and cheeks. Did you try it as a lip color?
I did, it’s really sheer and so pretty x
