Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the KVD Beauty Dazzle Stick Eyeshadow in the shade Lightning Strike.
If you have been around these past months you’d know I’m OBSESSED with these eyeshadows, I’m slowly getting them all. (and I’m basically forcing all my friends to buy them too)
These eyeshadows are so easy and quick to use, they last all day and look beautiful. I’m missing only one but it’s sold out everywhere. As soon as it comes back in stock I’m getting it.
You can buy it from Sephora for 22$ and it comes in 5 shades.
COLOUR
This shade it’s a bronze.
PACKAGING
The packaging is a thin and long tube in a hard plastic material. The shade name is written on the bottom. It is really nice and sturdy, I like it.
It looks like a lipstick, which makes it very practical to use.
FORMULA
It has a cream to powder formula. It’s very easy to apply and blend but once it sets it stays on all day.
It’s super reflective.
This shade is super blinding and looks almost wet, I love it. It’s a bit crumbly if you use the stick directly on the eyes though.
APPLICATION
I’ve tried different ways, as I said if you use the stick directly on the eyes it will crumble, so I usually rub it with my finger and then put it on. A stiff brush works as well, especially for a more precise application but, to be honest, I prefer to use my finger.
SWATCH
LASTING POWER
I always have to wear an eye primer or my makeup won’t last a minute. Even with cream shadows but I feel like most people would want to use it without.
- WITHOUT Primer: This shadow lasted for 8 hours on me before starting to crease. I have extremely oily lids so I was pleasantly surprised.
- WITH Primer: It lasted 12 hours.

I’m so impressed. I love the shade, it’s perfect for me. It is insanely easy to use and long-lasting. If you are looking for something to use daily that will make you look like you spend hours doing your makeup, this is perfect. My eyelids are quite a harsh test and the lasting time is great.
