Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Valentino Beauty Dreamdust Multi-Reflective Eye Glitter in the shade 01 Silver Spark
Valentino Beauty came out this past year but I feel like it was a bit of an understated launch, no one really talked about it but when I saw Tati’s video about it, I knew I had to try something.
Now, obviously, I went for the glitter and I got two shades. This shade was actually a mistake, I wanted the gold one but the site glitched and this is what I’ve ordered, I’ve ended up buying the gold one as well though.
I’m going to be honest, if you have the Tati Beauty Palette (which you can’t get anymore, sadly) these glitters are an exact dupe of that formula, this shade in particular is IDENTICAL to Aura Glitter. So if you have that palette, you won’t need it, if you don’t then this might be your opportunity to get a similar shade.
You can buy it at Nordstrom for 32$
Colour
The shade I have is a multi-reflex silver.
PACKAGING
I can’t believe how stunning the packaging is. The cardboard box where it comes in it’s gold and red as it is the actual pot which is made out of glass. The shade name is on the back.
I think the packaging is super pretty and easy to carry around, you just have to make sure you close it and keep the plastic cover or the product will go everywhere since after all is a pressed glitter.

PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
This shadow is very intensely pigmented but a bit crumbly, I suggest you use a primer underneath or something sticky that the glitter can grab to otherwise you are going to have a lot of fall down.
Guarantee that with this kind of shadow you are going to have some fall down anyway at the end of the day so it’s up to you to see if it’s something that bothers you.
It isn’t patchy but being a glitter is going to look uneven up close, it’s just how glitter reflects light.
APPLICATION
The best way to apply it is with your finger, this way it will adhere better to the eyelid.

LASTING POWER
On me, it lasts around 4 hours without fading. I don’t know why even with a primer it tends to crease so I prefer to use it as a topcoat over other shadows.
RATINGS:
- Colour: 7/10
- Longevity: 6/10
- Application: 7/10
- Formula: 8/10
- Pigmentation: 9/10
- Packaging: 9/10
GRADE: B
I like this glitter, the formula could use some improvements but since it’s a pressed pigment the fallout and crumbliness are expected. I wish it lasted a bit longer. If you like glitter you are going to love this but in my opinion, is a bit too pricey for what it is.
