MAC Cosmetics HoneyLove Matte Lipstick | Review

Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatches of the MAC Matte Lipstick in the shade HoneyLove.

Did I need another nude lipstick? No. Did I want it? Yes. I’m all about treating yourself when possible and I’ve said this before, there’s something so special about MAC Lipsticks. It might be weird but it’s one of the few brands that still gives me butterflies.

This lipstick is not new, but I loved the shade so that’s my excuse, I hope you’ll love it too.

COLOUR

This shade is a light beige toned with rose.

PACKAGING

The packaging is the exact same as every MAC Lipstick and as always, the shade’s name is written on the bottom in the usual MAC style.

The scent is the classic vanilla one, one of my favourite.

FORMULA

As the name would suggest it’s matte but it remains creamy and smooth, it’s not patchy and it doesn’t settle into fine lines.

It’s very comfortable to wear and it’s not drying.

The shade is the perfect everyday tone for me and I absolutely love it. Especially paired with a lip liner.

It lasted 5 hours on me without eating, but it fades very nicely.

I really like this lipstick, I like the effect and the formula, it feels beautiful on the lips. I absolutely love the packaging. The shade is absolutely gorgeous and perfect paired with bolder eyes. It’s quite long lasting so you won’t have to reapply it if you eat or drink and it lasts pretty well.
