Charlotte Tilbury Rose Gold Eyes To Mesmerise | Review

Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadow in the shade Rose Gold.

I already have this eyeshadow in the shade Pillow Talk and I’ve used it to death. It’s an everyday staple for me so I wanted to get another shade.

COLOUR

This shade is a shimmery rose gold.

PACKAGING

The packaging is a thick glass jar. The shade name is written on the back. It is really nice and sturdy, I like it.

It comes in the classic maroon box and the sticker on top is the same shade as the eyeshadow.

FORMULA & APPLICATION

The formula is a creamy mousse. It’s very pigmented and shiny, the colour is super saturated so you need the tiniest bit.

It’s a bit more shimmery than Pillow Talk but when you put it on it looks super classy, I love that it’s not crumbly or streaky and you can use it alone or under a powder shadow.

You can use either your fingers or a brush to put it on. I personally prefer the brush because it gives me more control.

LASTING POWER

I always have to wear an eye primer or my makeup won’t last a minute. Even with cream shadows but I feel like most people would want to use it without.

• WITHOUT Primer: This shadow lasted for 6 hours on me before starting to crease. I have extremely oily lids so I was pleasantly surprised.
• WITH Primer: This shadow was bulletproof. I had it on for 12 hours and it was still perfect. If something it got even better.

GRADE: A

This eyeshadow is stunning. It’s a bit more shimmery than Pillow Talk but I don’t think you need them both, they are very similar. I love to use it alone or as a base. It works perfectly from day to night. If you are looking for something quick to use daily you’ll love it. And I definitely want other shades, maybe this time in a different tone.
