Hi Darlings, in today’s post I’m going to share with you 5 Face Masks For Every Skin Type.
These past few weeks, I’ve shared with you my Morning Skincare Routine and my Evening one but sometimes my skin needs a little more and that’s when face masks make their appearance.
Depending on the occasion (PMS, cold weather, etc) I have a face mask I love to use. I’ve narrowed it down to 5 because I’m a firm believer that skincare needs time to work and I don’t want to bombard my skin with too many products and risk irritation.
L’Oréal Paris Pure Sugar Face Scrub
This is a sugar scrub so it has tiny grains that physically exfoliate the skin. I know some people are against physical exfoliators but I love them and this is so delicate it won’t irritate your skin. You can use it on your lips too and it’s super affordable.
You use it on dry skin, massage it and when you add water the sugar will dissolve and leave you with baby soft skin.
This is a chemical exfoliator so it uses Enzymes, as well as Sesame Milk to gently exfoliate the skin. It’s very gentle and I love how much it brightens my skin.
You only need to leave it on for 5 minutes so it’s perfect if you are in a rush.
Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores
This mask is the bomb when I’m PMSing and my skin is acting up. Blemishes, clogged pores, excess oil you name it and this will get rid of them.
I don’t have oily skin so I only use it when it’s that time of the month and I always make sure to use a hydrating product afterwards.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask
This mask is cult for a reason. With hyaluronic acid, vitamins and exfoliating acids it basically gives you new skin while you sleep. It tightens your pores, hydrates while being super lightweight.
It absorbs quite quickly so every skin type can use it and it won’t ruin your pillowcase. I normally put it on every other night in place of my evening moisturizer.
Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb Sheet Mask
I’m not the biggest fan of sheet masks because they are a bit of a waste to me, but sometimes my skin needs that bomb of hydration.
I like these because they aren’t too expensive, they work and they adhere well to the skin. I normally leave them on until they are 100% dry or so. At least this way I don’t feel like I’m wasting a lot of product.
Do you have a favourite face mask? Let me know.
