Maybelline The Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara | Review

Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review of the Maybelline The Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara.

This mascara has been very hyped but I don’t have the most forgiving lashes so I’m always a harsh test.

Remember that I had a lash lift which doesn’t influence the performance of the mascara, it just acts as a constant curl, my lashes are very heavy and all mascaras weigh them down but with it, my lashes stay curled all day.

PACKAGING

The packaging is super cute, like all the Colossal mascaras it has the yellow detail but this one looks like a speaker.

The spooly is a standard size bristle applicator with a slightly curved shape.

FORMULA

The formula is not too thick or too liquidy, it’s almost gel-like and very black if you are not careful it tends to transfer on your lids when you apply it. But once it dries it doesn’t smudge or flake off.

EFFECT & APPLICATION

I do two coats to get the best results but if you like to do more you can definitely build this mascara up without the spidery effect. Overall I think two coats are more than enough the get the best result.

This mascara is very lengthening. It doesn’t really volumize and I feel like it keeps the lashes curved all day.

It’s not clumpy therefore I love it on the lower lashes too, which rarely happens.

LASTING POWER

This mascara lasts all day on me without flaking or smudging.

I find it fairly easy to remove with miceallar water, I don’t have the black halo around my eyes when I wake up.

GRADE: A

I really like this mascara especially when I’m wearing a more natural look. It gives my lashes a lot of length but not much volume so if you need that it’s not the one for you. I love the packaging and the brush is very easy to use on the lower lashes too. If you want something more natural that’s not completely invisible this is a good choice.
