Hi Darlings, in today’s post I’m going to show you how I do Lash Lamination At Home.
Back in 2020 I’ve discovered Lash Lamination and I’ve been hooked ever since. When I discovered it though, aestheticians were closed (everything was) so I got this Amazon kit to try it at home.
I have a lot to say but quick disclaimer, I’m not a professional but I’ve been doing this for 2 years. It’s the kind of things that really takes practice. I can guarantee you my first attempts weren’t good. Also, this post ISN’T sponsored.

What is lash lamination?
Let’s start from the beginning. Lash lamination is basically a perm for your lashes. If you use an eye lash curler you curl your lashes but as soon as you wet your lashes the curl is gone. With lash lamination you keep your lashes curled for up to 5 weeks.
Why did you do it?
I have very thick hair all over my body which is great for my actual hair but not so great for the rest of my body hair. My lashes are very thick, dense and long. You might think “that’s awesome”, yes in theory it is but in reality it makes my lashes very heavy so when I curl them and apply mascara my lashes falls in 3 seconds and I end up looking like I have no lashes cause they flop down.
In the gallery you can see my lashes completely bare and with a mascara that completely weights them down.
One of the solutions I’ve found was to use waterproof mascara but it’s not exactly easy to remove so lash lamination is really the best solution for me.
How much does it cost?
In Italy it’s about 40/50$ to get it professionally done while this kit is 16$ on Amazon. I’ve used one completely one and I’m on my second one.
Is it hard to do?
It depends, I’d say that if you are kind of comfortable doing things around your eyes (i.e. using eyeliner) it’s not any harder than that, you have to practice thought because especially when you are glueing your lashes you have to be precise but fast.
How long does it last?
5 weeks on me but again my lashes grow very quickly, my coworker can stretch it till 7.
Does it hurt?
No, when you have everything on it’s not entirely comfortable but it doesn’t hurt.
Any other tips?
Just one, you’ll get 5 different size lift pads (the thing you attach to your lids and glue your lashes too). Don’t think that if you use the biggest one you’ll get the bigger curl. If you have short lashes and use the biggest pad you won’t get a curl and vice versa, if you use the smallest pad with long lashes, your lashes will go straight up and won’t be comfortable (or pretty).
How to use it?
I have Reel up on my Instagram that you can watch here.
But I’ve also written the explanation in case you prefer reading.
- Use the glue to attach the pad on your lids and use the same glue and the lifting brush to make your lashes adhere to the pad. Make sure they are nice and separated.
- Apply Step 1 with a q tip and make sure to focus on your roots.
- Cover your lashes with clear plastic and wait 10 minutes. Remove the excess product with a tissue.
- Now repeat with Step 2.
- Apply Step 3 with a spooly and wait 5 minutes.
- Use Step 4 or micellar water to remove the excess product and glue and carefully remove the pad too.
Here you can see the final result.

Love,
I need to do this. I love curling my lashes but you’re right they don’t really stay curled.
