Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review of the CurrentBody Skin LED Eye Perfector.

I’m so happy CurrentBody chose me again to partner on this review. As intrigued as I was about the Face Mask (read here) here is where my heart is. As I said in that post, I don’t have many wrinkles on my face but ever since I was 16 I had some creases on my under eye which got more prominent over the years. On top of that, I have a very dry eye area so my skin there needs all the help and having a LED mask that’s specific for the area sounds perfect to me.
What Is The Currentbody LED Mask?
The Currentbody LED Mask is a eye mask (it feels like a pair of glasses) you put on your face for 3 minutes a day that will help you rejuvenate and tighten the skin around your eyes. In the long run it can help you contrast the signs of aging, as well as under eye bags and dark circles.
How Does it work?
The Currentbody page does a fantastic job explaining the properties of LED light so I’m going to quote what they say:
Clinically proven technology with 4 LED wavelengths – amber (605nm), red (633nm), deep red (660nm), and near-infrared (880nm) – hits the deeper layers of your skin to ramp up collagen production and kick-start skin healing. Focusing on the area around your eyes, the CurrentBody Skin LED Eye Perfector diminishes dark circles, eye bags, crow’s feet, brow furrows and 11 lines.
HOW to use it?
To get the best results they recommend you to use it once a day. On clean, dry skin. In the box you’ll also get the CurrentBody Skin Green Tea Eye Cream which will help improve the results of the mask with its amazing properties. Here’s what they say:
Green tea has been shown in clinical studies to boost the effects of anti-aging LED light. It sped up the skin-rejuvenating effects of LED when used before treatments, compared to those who didn’t apply green tea.
I’m so picky with eye creams but this is amazing! It’s deeply hydrating but not greasy, it doesn’t sting and looks great under make up. If you don’t want to splurge for the mask, PLEASE at least try the eye cream. 18$ is a steal for such an incredible product.
Which results did you get?
Back to the mask, as I said, you have to use it once a day, here’s what I do:
- Cleanse my face
- Use a toner
- Apply the CurrentBody Skin Green Tea Eye Cream
- Put on the mask and turn it on for 3 minutes **
- Reapply the CurrentBody Skin Green Tea Eye Cream
** The mask will turn off automatically once you reach the 3 minutes mask. There are goggles you can use if the light bothers you but it’s safe to use without them.
It literally took me a week to see improvements. I have quite hooded eyes and while nothing but surgery can change that, I’ve noticed that my skin is more tight around that area, almost lifted. I’ve also felt like my creases are less obvious and my makeup overall actually looks so much better, especially my concealer. Now, I don’t actually know if it’s the mask doing magic or is the eye cream, what I know is that I’ll keep using both.
It’s worth noting that as opposed to the Face Mask you have to keep this on for only 3 minutes which is much more manageable for me.
Any cons?
Like I said with the mask the only real con I have is the price, but again, if the alternative is surgery, this is a good and effective solution.
Where do I buy it?
You can buy it from the CurrentBody website. It retails for
€236 but you can use code BLUSHY15 to get 15% off so you can get it for 200,60€

Interesting! I haven’t seen anything like this before. I’d love to try it. I hate how loose the skin below my eyes has become.
I hope it helps!
Adding this to my wish list!!
