Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review of the Bali Body BBSkin – Night Skincare Routine.
Not going to lie, not only I was INCREDIBLY excited when I heard of the launch (because I love skincare) but, in my opinion, these are some of the BEST products Bali Body has ever released. To be honest, I’m kind of dying to try the rest of the range.
BBSkin is a sub-brand of Bali Body that is going to offer a skincare line with a strong science background, vegan, cruelty free and inclusive for all skin types.
On top of that the packaging is made with 100% recycled materials. I don’t know about you but to me it sounds amazing.
This range includes seven products, but today we are going to focus on the ones they thought for the evening.
- Enzyme Exfoliant
- Vitamin D Serum
- Pro-Collagen Cream
- Detoxifying Clay Mask
You can get the products separately or together in the PM Kit.
I was not compensated for this post, however, I did receive all the Bali Body products free of charge in exchange for this review. The links in the post aren’t affiliated. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
- Enzyme Exfoliant 45€ for 50ml
- Vitamin D Serum 55€ for 30ml
- Pro-Collagen Cream 55€ for 30ml
- Detoxifying Clay Mask 45€ for 50g
- Face Mask Applicator 15€
- Vegan: Yes
- Cruelty Free: Yes
I am OBSESSED with the packaging, the matte brown is so stunning. Like it makes me happy to see it in my bathroom. I love that they all come with a pump (apart from the mask) because it’s super sanitary and you don’t spread bacteria into the products.
All the products are fragrance free but they have a slight scent (that comes from the ingredients). It’s very delicate and it doesn’t bother my skin at all.
Bali Body BB Skin Enzyme Exfoliant
This product confused me at first because I thought it was a cleanser. Spoiler alert: it’s not. It’s more of a serum/mask hybrid. You put it on and you can either rinse it after 15 minutes (you should do it if you skin is sensitive to active ingredients/acids) or keep it on.
It has a serum consistence and it dries quite quickly, I haven’t used it enough to notice long time results but right away it makes my skin look tighter and SO GLOWY. I felt like I got a facial is not even funny.
- Papaya Enzymes: Helps to exfoliate dead skin cells and flaky patches. It’s also anti-inflammatory because it contains papain which helps to brighten and repair the skin.ù
- Pomegranate Enzymes: Acts as a micro exfoliator, and gently encourage the renewal of skin cells to create smoother and softer skin.
- Lactic Acid (AHA): Which is great for hyperpigmentation and is not as harsh as other chemical exfoliants.
Bali Body BB Skin Vitamin D Serum
This serum is really nice. I’ll admit I’m not the biggest fan of serums in general and I normally skip them cause I’m lazy but this one is lightweight and hydrating.
It contains antioxidant Vitamin D from Reishi Mushroom Extract to help maintain skin health and prevent premature skin ageing, Kakadu Plum which provides Vitamin C and Chondrus Crispus Extract a red algae, which is rich of fatty acids that provide natural hydration and protection for the skin.
Bali Body BB Skin Pro-Collagen Cream
I’m not even going to try and play cool, this moisturizer it’s incredible. It’s almost a perfect dupe for the Drunk Elephant Protini cream (I think because they both have Peptides in it) which I love with my entire heart, but it’s even better. It’s a bit less greasy than that one but more hydrating too. My skin LOVES IT and I’m going to need a life time supply of it.
It also contains Bakuchiol, which helps fight free radicals and Hyaluronic Acid which is deeply hydrating but not greasy.
Side note, it looks incredible under makeup so I’ve been using it both day and night.
Bali Body BB Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask
Do you know how hard is to find a clay mask that’s both purifying and hydrating? Well, look no further.
This mask is made with French Green Clay: a natural exfoliant that gently removes dead skin cells from the skin, Hyaluronic Acid and Aloe Vera to hydrate and soothe the skin. It also contains Willow Bark Extract which is both anti-inflammatory and antibacterial and Golden Jojoba Oil to prevents irritations, rough patches and removes buildup of excess oil to keeps oil levels balanced.
Tell me it doesn’t sound like the perfect spa night treat. My skin felt so fresh after using it. You can get the silicone Mask Applicator so you don’t have to use your fingers to put it on and to me it also hamps up the “I’m at the SPA effect”.
Overall, it’s safe to say I love this range. I love how effective the formulas are and the fact that are made with well studied ingredients. I can’t even begin to tell you how obsessed I am with the Pro-Collagen Cream, there’s not a single thing I’d change about of it. But all the products are incredible, as I said, probably the best launch from the range. On top of that, it’s also beautiful to keep on display and I appreciate that everything is both vegan and cruelty free. I genuinely hope you’ll try it because it deserves all the love.
I really hope you guys enjoyed the post, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know what you think and if you have any questions.
