Dior Fireworks, Copper Sparks Diorshow Liquid Mono | Review

Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Dior Diorshow Liquid Mono in the shades 080 Fireworks and 650 Copper Sparks.

These two liquid eyeshadows are part of the holiday collection, there are actually four shades in total but these two are my personal favourite.

I was so excited when the collection arrived in the store, it looked beautiful online but these were the products I wanted to test out the most so I’m sharing my thought with you today.

• 080 Fireworks is a sheer lilac-pink
• 650 Copper Sparks is a glittery copper

PACKAGING

The packaging is a thick and relatively small tube in a hard plastic material. The shade name is written on the bottom. It is really nice and sturdy, I like it.

It has a flat doe-foot applicator that I love, it picks up just the right amount of product.

FORMULA

The formula is very creamy and it’s not sticky. 

650 Copper Sparks is super metallic and glittery but you don’t get any glitter fall down through the day. It’s not patchy at all.

080 Fireworks is sheerer but it gives the lid a beautiful sheen. It looks gorgeous on top of other eyeshadows but you can layer it to get a fuller effect.

APPLICATION

The doe-foot applicator allows an easy application and the shadow is easy to blend with the finger. You have time to move it around but once it sets, you won’t be able to move it.

LASTING POWER

I always have to wear an eye primer or my make up won’t last a minute. Even with cream shadows but I feel like most people would want to use it without.

• WITHOUT Primer: This shadow lasted for 6 hours on me before starting to crease. I have extremely oily lids so I was pleasantly surprised.
• WITH Primer: This shadow was bulletproof. I had it on for 12 hours and it was still perfect. If something it got even better.

GRADE: A

These eyeshadows are stunning. I’ve been using them a lot and I’m so in love with them. They are insanely easy to use, super blinding and long-lasting. They work perfectly from day to night. If you are looking for something quick to use daily you’ll love it. The lilac one is stunning as a highlighter and I don’t mint that is sheerer.
