Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Essence The Blush in the shades 50 Blooming and 60 Beaming.
These are a new release from them I think they are just this year’s version of their classic blush line, that I normally really like.
I have to say, I love that this time they came out with a more delicate shade range, full of soft nude tones.
Since they are so new here I wasn’t able to find them on Ulta but the site I linked ships worldwide. Get them here for about 2,99$ each.
50 Blooming
60 Beaming
COLOUR
- 50 Blooming is a light nude peachy brown.
- 60 Beaming is a light nude peach.
PACKAGING
The packaging is very simple and minimal, I like that I can see the shade through the top.
The pan has some prints on it and the shade name is on the back.
PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
The formula is quite soft and smooth especially when you swatch it, it has medium pigmentation. You definitely have to build up the colour which as I said in the past is my personal preference with face products.
It doesn’t have any fallout and it’s not too chalky. It doesn’t enhance pores or texture.
APPLICATION
It is not super pigmented but you can layer it.
SWATCH
50 Blooming
60 Beaming
LASTING POWER
On me, it lasts around 6 hours before starting to fade.
RATINGS:
- Colour: 9/10
- Longevity: 8/10
- Application: 7/10
- Formula: 9/10
- Pigmentation: 7/10
- Packaging: 8/10
GRADE: A-
These blushes are stunning. I love both shades so much. It looks like you are naturally flushed and I personally prefer when blushes are less pigmented because it helps to avoid the clown effect. The lasting power is great. If you like the colour and you are looking for an affordable option this is really nice. For that price is a good blush.

These look so soft and wearable, I love it!
Love these shades for everyday ??
Such lovely colours, and really helpful that you tried them out! Thank you :).
Thank you ?
Wow! A pretty awesome rating for this! I’ll have to give it a shot!
I’m loving them x
The color looks pretty subtle on your skin, perfect for day year, love it.
Thank you ?
Love how naturally soft and sweet this looks! Perfect for everyday wear or just to throw on a bit of colour!
Exactly, they’re perfect x
These look like fantastic shades for every day wear. And I agree, I prefer to build up the colour so I can control the final outcome.
These are such pretty shades of blush. I used to love wearing blush, but have developed a little bit of redness in the last couple of years so I’ve stopped using it. Looks great on you.
Try with these kinds of tones, they’ll balance the redness!
I’m a huge fan of essence, I’m using a variety of their products for quite some years now.. for sure I, too, love their blushes. I have used the 20 until they somehow discontinued it, so now I have switched to 30 (a little darker) and I simply LOVE it! 60 sounds interesting, too, will check it out the next time I’m near a dm, thanks for the tip 🙂
Ohhh I used to love the shade 20, they usually change their blushes every year but they always remain similar ahaha
both colors seem really pretty on you. I personally don’t like their blushes, so I wont be picking it up
Thank you! I think blush is a really misunderstood product but you do you 🙂
Love it! The colours look a lot like the blush I already have! It’s super pigmented so I’ve been using it for almost 4 years now and I still can’t see the end of it ?Next time I’ll definitely try a less pigmented one since it’s easier to use!
Those are definitely better ?
This was one option that I had when I decided to do a ONE OF EACH makeup for the year. I loved how neutral the colors were of the blush that it fit almost any skin color.
Yeah totally x
