Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatches of the MAC Love Me Lipstick in the shade Killing Me Softly.
I love MAC Lipsticks and I wanted to explore this new range a bit more, I got a few different shades, nothing too intense thought (although this is not too light) because the formula is quite creamy and creamy dark lipsticks terrify me.
You can buy it here for 21$
This shade is a mauvy plum.
The packaging is the exact same as every MAC Lipstick but it has a pink ombre at the top and at the bottom and it’s also shiny. The shade name is written on the bottom in the usual MAC style.
It comes in a really pretty ombrè box with which I really like.
The scent is the classic vanilla one, one of my favourite.
It’s very creamy and smooth, it’s not patchy and it doesn’t settle into fine lines.
On the website they say is oil-infused so it provides all-day moisture in satin finish. I definitely agree with the claims, they are both very comfortable to wear and not drying.
This shade looks like you sucked on a cherry, it’s very pretty for spring.
Since it is so creamy it is not the most long lasting lipstick but it’s quite easy to reapply even without a mirror. I’d say it lasted on me about 4 hours.

I already knew I loved these lipsticks and this shade is very pretty. I like the effect, it feels beautiful on the lips. I love the packaging and honestly, there is not much to say, I’ve been wearing it a lot so I recommend it if you are on the hunt for a new everyday shade that’s also hydrating and a bit more intense, especially if your skin is darker than mine.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
