Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the L’Oreal Emotion Nude Eyes & Cheek Blushing Palette.
I got this palette a while ago honestly because it looked beautiful online and I love these pinky tones. If you don’t have a big budget I think L’Oreal is a great place to shop for eyeshadow palettes because they always are of good quality and not too pricey.
You can buy it here for 20$
PACKAGING
The packaging is a classic and it’s so PRETTY! It’s so chic and luxurious it feels high end. I love the attention to detail.
I love that on the back you get shade names as well as a description of the formula.
The shades actually have a really nice scent, it might bother you if you have sensitive eyes though.

PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
I find the mattes are a really good base for any look. They are incredibly buttery and they blend so nicely.
The shimmers are stunning too, and all the shades are richly pigmented and super buttery.
The palette is very pink toned but you get a lot of shades to create different looks, some good basic shades as well as smokey tones.
It says you can use it on the face too. I haven’t tried and while I think the tones would allow it, I also feel like the pans are a bit too small to use with a bigger brush and I wouldn’t want a purple stripe on my face.
APPLICATION
I think the shimmers work best when they are damp or applied with the fingers but that’s usually the case with shimmer shadows.
SWATCH
LASTING POWER
With a primer, these eyeshadows last about 8 hours before fading.

This palette is so nice! I can’t believe how affordable it is. I love the packaging and the formula is awesome. The colour selection is beautiful and if you don’t have a big budget it’s a great one to have. You can use it on the face too which is definitely a nice feature to have, you just have to be careful if you use a big brush.
