Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review of the Elf Prime & Stay Finishing Powder in the shade Fair/Light (on some sites it’s called Sheer).

PRODUCT DETAILS:
- Price: 4$ for 5g of product
- Vegan: Yes
- Cruelty Free: Yes
- Shade range: 2 shades
- Shop here: ELF (4$), I haven’t seen it everywhere ELF is sold so you might need to check if it’s available.

INGREDIENTS
mica, silica, synthetic fluorphlogopite, aluminum starch octenylsuccinate, magnesium stearate, ethylhexyl palmitate, tridecyl, magnesium palmitate, boron nitride, nylon-12, dimethicone, caprylyl glycol.
COLOUR
This shade is a pale ivory. It’s very brightening but completely sheer on, so despite coming in only two shades I feel like they cover most skin tones.
PACKAGING
The packaging is pretty flimsy, I’m not going to lie and I’ve heard some people saying it breaks easily, so it might not be great to travel with. Truth is, that is so affordable that you can easily repurchase it.
FORMULA
This powder is very finely milled and almost creamy. It doesn’t look cakey or heavy. It’s slightly tinted, but it doesn’t change the colour of your concealer but it definitely brightens the under eyes.
APPLICATION
I always bake my concealer with a loose powder, so this one wouldn’t work for me to set it, but I love it to wipe away my baking powder. It gives my under eye the most beautiful finish and luminosity.
EFFECT
This powder looks amazing on my under eye. You can see in the picture how bright the under eye is.
LASTING POWER
It lasted for about 7 hours before I had to reapply it.
Final Thoughts on the Elf Prime & Stay Finishing Powder:
This Elf Prime & Stay Finishing Powder is great! The packaging isn’t great but other than that it’s amazing I love how it applies and how it brightens my skin. On top of that, it makes my concealer last all day and doesn’t dry my skin out. I love it as a finishing step and for the price you can’t go wrong.
I really hope you guys enjoyed the post, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know what you think and if you have any questions.
