Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review of the L’Oreal Pure Sugar Nourish & Soften Face Scrub.
In case you are new here, I’m the biggest fan of L’Oreal masks I talk about them all the time, but lately, my skin has been slightly drier and flakey so when I saw they were coming out with this new range of scrubs I flipped out, I knew I needed to try them.
There are three in this line and as I said this is the Nourish & Soften one, let me know if you want me to try the other two: one is for blackheads and on is more brightening.
You can get the L’Oreal Pure Sugar Nourish & Soften Face Scrub here for 12$.
On L’Oréal website they say:
Blend of 3 Pure Sugars are paired with finely crushed Cocoa, luxurious coconut oil and rich cocoa butter. This buttery-soft sugar scrub is truly kind to your skin. This scrub with brown, blonde and white sugars, rich in minerals, melts into skin for gentle, yet effective exfoliation.
I’m personally not the biggest fan of the scent, but my sister Queen loves it, it smells like chocolate so it’s totally personal.
The mask is quite hard and thick, like coconut oil, the sugar is really fine and it’s quite interesting to use:
You pick up a small amount and massage it on your DRY face, the oils will melt and the sugar is going to exfoliate your skin, then you just add a bit of water and massage until the sugar melts and lastly, you rinse the excess oil. You can use it on your face & lips.
At first, I thought It wasn’t abrasive enough because the sugar is so fine but I was SO WRONG. After using it my skin is insanely softer and the dry skin is all gone.
My sister loves it too. We both can’t get enough.
I use it about 3 times per week and I’m so in love. It is truly what was missing from the L’Oréal Face Masks range.
I have combination skin and my sister as more oily acne prone skin but we both love it. I think it will work for every skin type. We love it on the lips too.
The packaging is the only downside for me, I don’t think the pot is really hygienic but it’s so hard there’s no other way to do it, a tube wouldn’t work, so I can cope with it. The jar is made in glass, not really travel friendly but very luxurious.
I love that is super quick to use too. The sugars melt really easily and you are left with super soft and nourished skin (I mean they kind of nailed the name). I like to use it before the L’Oréal Pure Clay Detox Mask and my skin has never been more glowy and radiant.

I absolutely adore this mask! On my skin I can see that it works, the price point is awesome, not the biggest fan of the packaging or the scent but I can work with it because it’s so amazing. If you are looking for a new scrub that it’s effective and not drying you are going to love this one.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
