Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatches of the MAC Love Me Lipstick in the shades Daddy’s Girl and Tres Blase.
It has been a while since my last MAC review but none of the recent launches sparked my attention. These lipsticks though… I’m obsessed with the packaging and the shades are sooo pretty I had to get a few.
I only got light colours because the formula is very creamy and I know I wouldn’t like a darker shade in it.
Special thank you to my coworker and friend Veronica that got these for me with her makeup artist discount!
You can get them from maccosmetics.com or in store for 19$ each.
- Daddy’s Girl is a soft light pink.
- Tres Blase is light peachy beige.
The packaging is the exact same as every MAC Lipstick but it’s ombre at the top and at the bottom the same colour as the lipstick and it’s also shiny. The shade name is written on the bottom in the usual MAC style.
It comes in a really pretty ombrè box with which I really like.
The scent is the classic vanilla one, one of my favourite.
It’s very creamy and smooth, it’s not patchy and it doesn’t settle into fine lines.
On the website they say is oil-infused so it provides all-day moisture in satin finish. I definitely agree with the claims, they are both very comfortable to wear and not drying.
Since it is so creamy it is not the most long lasting lipstick but it’s quite easy to reapply even without a mirror. I’d say it lasted on me about 4 hours.
- Colour: 10/10
- Longevity: 7/10
- Packaging: 10/10
- Pigmentation: 10/10
- Comfort: 8/10
- Scent: 10/10
I love these lipsticks, I like the effect and the colour, they feel beautiful on the lips. I love the packaging and honestly, there is not much to say. They are not the most original shades but I’ve been wearing them everyday so I recommend it if you are on the hunt for a new everyday shade that’s also hydrating.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
