Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Catrice Poreless Perfection Powder.
I rarely use compact powders when I do my makeup because I prefer loose ones but I love to carry them around for touch ups on the go.
I like them a with a little pigment because I wear sheer foundations that tend to wear off through the day so the extra pigmentation helps to get some coverage back.
It only comes in one shade, which is ridiculous and not enough at all, it says that it adapts to every skin tone but I doubt that, you can buy it here for 6$.
PACKAGING
The packaging is very cheap and plasticky but the pan size is fairly generous and I appreciate the mirror as I like to carry it around.
FORMULA
This face powder is very finely milled and almost creamy. It doesn’t look cakey or heavy.
It’s slightly tinted, but it doesn’t change the colour of your foundation or your concealer.
EFFECT
This powder looks amazing on my skin. You can see in the picture how much my pores are minimized. My face looks and feels like a rose petal, especially from the distance.
It’s also quite matte, but it never looks cakey or powdery.

It lasted for about 5 hours before I had to reapply it.

I like this powder. The effect is beautiful, and the longevity is quite nice. I don’t like the packaging, and I absolutely hate that there’s only one shade, I agree that is sheer so it could work on a lot of skin tones but not on everyone. It’s easy to apply and it keeps me very matte without being cakey, so if you have oily skin you are going to love it.

Looks like it worked well with your skin! I have such a hard time finding the right powder for my skin tone. I usually go with one from Laura Mercier. This looks like a great option for a quick finish to set your makeup.

It is very very very sheer as you can see from the swatch but I still think it could leave a white cast on darker skin tones
