Dior Forever Natural Nude | Review

Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Dior Forever Natural Nude.

The picture above is from Sephora because I actually only have a sample of this and I wanted to show you the full bottle. It was a pretty big sample because my friends works at Douglas so it gave me the opportunity to try it for almost a week.

I have the shade 1,5N which is one of the lighest but works perfectly for me.

It comes in 17 shades and you can only get it from dior.com for 52$ (the shade I have is not available in the States maybe is sold out).

PACKAGING

The bottle is made of glass and it is a beige cap. I love it, I find it incredibly chic and fancy. It has a pump which makes it super easy to use it.

It comes in the usual blue box and the shade is written on the back.

FORMULA

The formula is quite thick but it feels like water.

It has medium coverage but it’s buildable. The finish is very glowy and looks very smooth on the skin. The best part is that despite being so luminous is actually dry on the face and it doesn’t create that greasy feeling.

Something that really impressed me is how it glides on the skin, it looks so natural on but my face looks incredibly smooth and poreless but like I’m not wearing anything.

EFFECT

It honestly looks incredible on, it doesn’t have much coverage but you can see how radiant makes my skin look.

It looks like you are wearing a filter. I have combination skin and I love it but if you are oily it might be too much.

APPLICATION

My favourite way to apply it’s dabbing it with my fingers on the face and then blend it with a damp sponge, I find that it makes the foundation mesh with the skin beautifully.

LASTING POWER

This foundation lasts for 8 hours without blotting it despite the heat.

I really like this foundation, I love it for day to day life. It’s easy to wear and it doesn’t look like you are wearing anything. I like the glowy finish and medium coverage. I also like the packaging. The shade is a perfect match for me and I’ll definitely get the full size.
