Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review of the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes Mascara.
You guys know Charlotte Tilbury is my favourite brand and when I’ve noticed I was out of mascara I thought I could try this one.
Now, I normally don’t splurge on mascara but this one was in a kit with the Pillow Talk eyeliner which I wanted for a while and at the same price as the mascara so I thought I could take advantage of the sale.
You can get the same kit I got here for 29$, or you can get just the mascara here for 29$ or you can even get the mini version here for 15$.
PACKAGING
I absolutely LOVE the packaging. Every product in the Pillow Talk range comes in the pink packaging that resembles a pillow which I think is adorable.
The spooly is a standard size silicone applicator with an oval shape.

FORMULA
The formula is thick and very black if you are not careful it tends to transfer on your lids when you apply it. It takes quite a long time to dry which is slightly annoying.
EFFECT & APPLICATION
I do two coats to get the best results but if you like to do more you can definitely build this mascara up without the spidery effect. Overall I think two coats are more than enough the get the best result.
This mascara is very volumizing and lengthening but you have to use it right or your lashes will get clumpy very quickly.
First, you use the flat side of the brush to put the product on and then you use the bristles to diffuse it on the lashes and build the volume.
I really like the results on my lashes.
LASTING POWER
This mascara lasts all day on me but by the end of the day, I have the tiny dots under my brows which normally doesn’t happen to me. It’s easy to clean but for such a pricey mascara I find it very annoying.
EDIT: I legit had a full ugly cry meltdown the other day and this mascara didn’t run at all. Call me impressed.
I find it fairly easy to remove with micellar water, I don’t have the black halo around my eyes when I wake up.
RATING:
- Colour: 10/10
- Longevity: 7/10
- Application: 7/10
- Packaging: 10/10
- Effect: 9/10
- Formula: 7/10
GRADE: B
I like this mascara, I like the effect and I love the packaging but it’s not the most intuitive one to use and if you mess up you’ll get spidery lashes. On top of that, I don’t like that the formula takes so much to dry and I definitely don’t like that it smudges on my browbone at the end of the day. So, in conclusion, I have it and I’ll use it up but I wouldn’t repurchase it and I won’t recommend it either, I feel like if you want to splurge on mascara there’s better out there. Even if this isn’t terrible.

Those are some great results – love that before and after! Also love they have the mini size! Thanks for the info!!
It’s a nice way to try it x
I want this mascara so much! This is definitely on my Black Friday/Cyber Monday beauty list. Hopefully it might be a sale for the full size one.
🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
I was just looking for a new mascara! I need to get this one looks like a good volume one!! my eye lashes are so small they need all the help they need.
It looks great right?
I’m not a fan of the small spoilys like that. I feel They don’t cover as well as the bigger ones. Great honest review 🙂
Thank you! I have smaller eyes so big spoolys don’t work on me 😂
