Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Charlotte Tilbury Eyeliner in the shade Pillow Talk.
You know I’m obsessed with Pillow Talk as a shade, I’m pretty sure I have it in every formula by now, but I was missing the eyeliner because it was too expensive to justify the purchase for me, especially because I prefer liquid eyeliners and rarely use pencils.
But I needed a new mascara so when I saw the kit with the mascara and the eyeliner at the same price as just the mascara, I’ve decided it was my chance to try both.
The mascara is full size but the pencil is a mini which worked just fine for me because I know I won’t use it much, I just wanted it in my collection.
This shade is a smoky berry brown.
The packaging is very classic for an eyeliner, I like that the back shows you the shade.
It’s a pencil you have to sharpen which I don’t really like because you waste quite a bit of product when you do it.
FORMULA & APPLICATION
The formula is quite hard, which gives you a lot of control because it doesn’t bleed.
Whenever I use these kinds of pencils as eyeliner I usually use scotch tape to create a sharp wing but if you can do it without, this formula doesn’t budge at all but it’s very blendable until it sets.
Overall, I like it but it’s not an everyday choice for me.
On me, it lasts about 8 hours. It doesn’t transfer on the lid which is very impressive.

I like this eyeliner, mostly because the shade is beautiful. I’m not the most skilled with using pencils as eyeliner so I knew I’d struggle with that. The hard formula gives you a lot of control because it doesn’t bleed but it’s easy to manoeuvre before it sets. If you like the shade and are ok with the splurge, I’d recommend it. To be honest, though, I like that I got it in the kit, I’m pretty happy with the mini because I know I won’t use it much but I was curious about it.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
