Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review of the Essence Double Trouble Mascara.
This is the new mascara for the brand. Apparently, the brush has two sides, one for volume and one for length. It definitely sounded interesting enough for me to review it.

PACKAGING
The packaging is classic of mascara but slightly bigger.
It has a 2-in-1 brush with two sides:
- One side of elastomer for extra volume.
- And a side of fiber to add definition and curl your lashes.
FORMULA
The formula has quite a liquid consistency and is very black.
EFFECT & APPLICATION
I always do two coats of mascara to get the best results. This mascara is quite lengthening and volumizing. It’s good but not special, I like my mascaras more dramatic.
I like to use it on my lower lashes.
If you are not careful, it tends to transfer onto your lids when you apply it. Once it dries, it doesn’t smudge or flake off.
LASTING POWER
It lasts all day, I find it fairly easy to remove, I don’t have the black halo around my eyes when I wake up.

GRADE: B
This mascara is nice, it’s lengthening and volumizing but I have very complicated lashes so it doesn’t look like anything special on me. Overall for the price, it’s a good mascara. It lasts all day.

I have had trouble with one of their other mascara’s transferring onto my lid. But for $4.99 I wasn’t too mad about it.
Yeah that’s unfortunate but it can happen. At least the price wasn’t too bad
Great review on these mascaras, I tend to very brand loyal to my mascara but it always good to know what is out there.

I usually just stick to one brand and i prefer with volume and is waterproof. As an alternative this is not a bad option.
