Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Dior Rouge Dior Ultra Care Liquid Lipstick in the shades Wonder (639) and Bloom (999).
If you saw my post about the Fall Trends, you’d know that these lipsticks are part of them because most shades of the line are reds which is part of the trend as you can see from the swatches.
Working in a beauty store I thought it would be cool to actually swatch all the shades and give you my thoughts on them. You’ll see the colours on my arm, keep in mind they look different there than they will on your lip.
Actually the formula is part of a new trend as well because both Chanel and L’Oreal have come out with these watery tints.
You can get them from sephora 38$ each.
- Wonder (639) is a beige nude
- Bloom (999) is an iconic red
The packaging is a square tube. Very chic. It doesn’t really have a scent or a specific taste.
This lip product feels like a lip tint but it doesn’t dry on your lips. It has almost an oily consistency and they feel very hydrating.
When you apply it is very liquidy once it sets it becomes slightly more matt and long-lasting but it doesn’t dry completely. They are both very smooth and not patchy at all.
The formula is incredibly lightweight and not drying at all but if this kind of formula is fine with the light colour it scares me with a dark shade because I’m always afraid to find it all over my face.
The applicator looks like a pointy spoon, while I like the point because it allows you to be precise on the edges the spoon part I don’t get it. It’s really hard to use without getting lipstick all over your face.
- 459 Flower
- 635 Ecstase
- 707 Bliss
- 749 D-Light
- 760 Diorette
- 808 Caress
- 860 Flirt
- 866 Romantic
- 966 Desire
- 975 Paradise
Being that they don’t dry out I was surprised from the lasting power, without eating they last for 4-5 hours but if you touch them they’ll go away.

- Pigmentation: 8/10
- Comfort: 7/10
- Packaging: 9/10
These liquid lipsticks are nice. The formula is ok, I especially like it for the nude, the red just scares me and I don’t feel comfortable wearing it because I’m afraid I’ll find it all over my face. The formula goes on smoothly and it’s comfortable. As always, with Dior the packaging is gorgeous. I don’t particularly like the overall shade range, because again, they are mostly reds and with this formula, they scare me. If you like the shades they are ok but definitely not worth the high price.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
