Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Huda Beauty Lip Strobe in the shade Shameless.
Last year, in a beauty bag I got the shade Fearless which definitely wasn’t wearable, pretty but not my colour. So when I saw this one in the advent calendar I got really excited because the shade felt a lot more wearable.
It is also the colour that Julia has and she was really excited for me to finally try it. This is one of the full sizes in the calendar.

COLOUR
On the website, a chameleon sheer base encapsulating gold and pink pearls, it’s more of a dark nude brown with purple, pink and orange shimmer.
PACKAGING
The Huda Beauty Lip Strobe comes in a skinny tube with a hard plastic material.
The doe-foot applicator is AMAZING. It’s tiny and it has a point, which makes it super easy and precise to use. It picks up the perfect amount of product.
The scent is a bit tricky for me. It smells good like vanilla, but as soon as you put it on, it has a weird after taste that is kind of disgusting.
FORMULA
The formula is very pigmented and it’s impossible to get a sheer look. It’s not sticky, though, which is nice.
It’s not patchy.
SWATCH
LASTING POWER
On me, this lip gloss lasts about 2 hours without eating, but it doesn’t set into fine lines. As I said, it leaves a pretty stain behind which makes it last longer.

I like this gloss. I like the effect and the formula, the packaging is amazing, the applicator is one of the best out there. The colour is not my favourite, but that’s a personal preference because I don’t like brown nudes on me. The scent/taste really bothers me though. Also, I’m not usually a fan of really pigmented formulas and I usually go for more sheer ones.

I would never wear brown nude colours but I love the effect this one has! Too bad about the scent though…
