Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Lanolips Hydrating Lip Luminiser in Desert Glow.
When I got this lip gloss in the Sephora advent calendar, I was thrilled. I’ve used the Lanolips 101 Ointment Multipurpose Balm for years so a lipgloss with the same properties of that sounded soooo good.
I’m not sure where you can get Lanolips in the States, maybe you’ll let me know, I found it on Cult Beauty for about 10$.
COLOUR
It is a peachy nude shade.
PACKAGING
The bottle is made of plastic and it is a squeeze tube with a plastic applicator.
It smells fruity, it’s nice, I like it.
FORMULA
It’s very glossy, but not sticky, It doesn’t settle into fine lines.
It is very hydrating and I like it but nothing special, I feel like is a product like any other.
APPLICATION
I like the squeezy applicator, it gets quite messy but it’s pretty easy to clean.
SWATCH

LASTING POWER
On me, it lasts about 2 hours and it disappears when you eat.
RATING:
- Colour: 8/10
- Longevity: 7/10
- Application: 8/10
- Pigmentation: 9/10
- Comfort: 8/10
- Scent: 8/10
- Packaging: 9/10
GRADE: B+
This gloss is very nice, I like the packaging and the formula. It is quite hydrating. The shade is pretty but not my personal favourite, I like pinker things on me. So although it’s not a bad product it’s not a must either so I’ll leave it to you. It is definitely great for every day.

It looks quite different on the photos than on your lips. I tend to like colors that are a bit darker. Although I don’t wear it as often as I’d like cause hubby and I kiss too much and he doesn’t like gloss or lipstick. LOL Thanks for sharing your review.
Lol ? Thank you ?
I believe Ulta now stocks Lanolips in the States. I’ve heard nothing but great things about the brand, but I have a sneaky suspicion I may be allergic to lanolin so I’ve never tried it myself.
That sucks, I really like their lip balms ♥️
I’m too scared to try unfortunately!
Why do you think you are allergic?
I had a horrific reaction years ago after using the Bite Agave Lip Mask, and lanolin is a big ingredient apparently. I don’t know 100% for sure that’s what I reacted to, but I don’t want to take any chances!
Makes sense! We don’t have Bite Beauty here so I’m safe ?
This brand is new to me but the lip gloss looks so good! I will check it out for sure ?
Enjoy x
the product looks absolutely lovely! I’d enjoy it a lot!
I hope you’ll get it then x
This looks really nice on. It’s the kind of colour I like to wear.
Enjoy love x
This looks like a lip-smacking gloss, I love the color. As long as it doesn’t have that greasy feel and the medicine like taste,it will be good for me.
Those are good claims ?
I will recommend this peachy nude shade to my wife. She love nude shades. Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much for sharing, my wife would love to try this out, it looks great. Thank you.
I really want to try Lanolips. I know you can get it at Sephora in Canada.
Enjoy x
I haven’t tried any of their products. I do like how it looks and it give nice shine to the lips

Thank you ?
It has a nice shade and packaging. So sad, lip glosses don’t really last for hours.
True x
I love that you’re review a lot of lip glosses, I like them but I never know which one I should buy!
I honestly wear lip glosses most of the times! Either that or liquid lipsticks
Same! I prefer a glossy look than a matte one!
