Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the MAC Petal Power Lipstick in the shade Craving.
I’m not going to lie, I mainly got this for the packaging, actually, I think that MAC should make every single lipstick in this packaging because it’s beyond gorgeous.
This part of the MAC Petal Power Collection they released for Spring but this shade is permanent and it was one I wanted for a while so I decided to get it in this special packaging.
You can get it from maccosmetics.com or in store, here is in the limited edition packaging for 20$ or here in the regular one for 19$.
On the website, the shade is described as Burst of Plum and it’s an Amplified finish.
The packaging is the exact same as every MAC Lipstick but metallic rose.
The shade name is written on the bottom in the usual MAC style.
It comes in a really pretty sheer box with cherry blossom details which I really like.
The scent is the classic vanilla one, one of my favourite.
As the name would suggest it’s very creamy and smooth, it’s not patchy and it doesn’t settle into fine lines.
It’s very comfortable to wear and it’s not drying.
The shade is a bit too dark for me to be an everyday colour but it’s pretty nontheless.
It lasted 5 hours on me without eating, but it fades very nicely.
- Colour: 7/10
- Longevity: 8/10
- Application: 8/10
- Pigmentation: 9/10
- Comfort: 8/10
- Packaging: 10/10
I really like this lipstick, I like the effect and the formula, it feels beautiful on the lips. I absolutely love the packaging. The shade is not one I’d wear every day because it’s a bit too dark but it’s a nice one for Sping. I especially like it when it’s blotted on, it reminds me of the effect you get when you eat a cherry.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
