Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Catrice Volumizing Lip Booster in 010 SomeBARE Over The Rainbow.
Welcome back to “Addict Me: Mimi and Plumping Glosses”, I’m Mimi and I pretty much adore the tingly feeling of volumizing glosses.
For once though, the gloss I’m talking about is quite affordable.
It looked so promising online, I can wait to tell you what I think.

COLOUR
The shade is a light nude pink.
PACKAGING
The packaging for this lip gloss is a squared tube in hard plastic material, it’s quite luxe, the shade name is on the cap and I have to say, what a cute name that is.
The scent is very minty but almost like mouthwash, I really like it.
FORMULA
It’s very glossy, but not sticky, it settles into fine lines but they smooth out after a while and it’s never really noticeable from the distance.
Now about the volumizing effect. It works well and it’s not too intense. I can actually see the effect which is very nice, especially from the distance (you can really see it in the pictures).
APPLICATION
The doe-foot lip gloss applicator is flat and round, so it’s very easy and precise to use. It picks up just the right amount of product, and you can cover your entire lips with just one dip.

LASTING POWER
On me, it lasts about 2 hours but the tingly effect lasts for 30 minutes or so. It doesn’t fade.

I like this gloss, I like the effect and the shade is gorgeous, it is really easy to apply. I like the volumized look but I honestly prefer when it tingles for longer. The scent is nice too. For that price, it’s a really good option and it comes in a variety of shades which is always nice. I still prefer the MAC ones I’ve reviewed a few weeks ago but this is good too.

lol girl, I chucked at “addict me” hahaha …. also, these product shots make this gloss look so luxe. This sounds and looks like a super lovely gloss. I’ve never tried anything from Catrice whatsoever, but I always hear positive things.
Well I haven’t tried much either but I like this gloss (obviously) and their blushes are amazing! I seriously have a plumping gloss on right now (and it’s freaking 3AM here ?)
