Today’s question is: “Blush – Bronzer – Highlighter: Save or Splurge? Why?”
Hi Darlings, so today’s post is going to be another: Mimi & Julia Ask.

Blush – Bronzer – Highlighter: Save or Splurge? Why?
Mimi: Both for Blush and Bronzer, I have a good mix in my collection and I’m not picky about them but I always splurge on Highlighter.
I feel like affordable ones tend to be chalky and they don’t really mesh with the skin the way I want to. I only like the Colorpop On The Cusp, that is gorgeous!
Julia: Expensive, because I like to spend on these products. I like when they are beautiful even in the packaging.
NOW IT’S YOUR TURN: LEAVE US A COMMENT SO WE CAN START A CONVERSATION.

Love,
I never cheap out on makeup. I use it to look my best in all kinds of situations. I want the highest quality possible.
I don’t think that splurging always results in better quality, but it probably means better ingredients
I’m never cheap when it comes to makeup. Things I put on my face have to be good quality so I’m willing to pay more if I have to.
It totally makes sense!
Hah you know me – my blush, bronzers, and highlighters really span from super affordable to luxury! For example, I have never found a bronzer I love more than my Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer (which is super affordable), but I still love to splurge on some prestige & luxury options!
I think to me with bronzer is a tie between butter bronzer and nars Laguna. I’ve run out of multiple Lagunas but my butter bronzer fell and broke and I’ve never repurchased it
I just recently purchased a mini of the Laguna bronzer, so I’m excited to give it a try. I had only tried it in a larger palette when I was in high schools
I had it in different palettes and I’ve fished it in those. Then I got the full size and finished that too. Now I have it in last year’s Christmas palette and it’s half way gone hahahaha it’s gorgeous for summer and I love it on the eyes as well
Ooo good to know. I’m currently trying to focus on hitting pan in my Fenty / Urban Decay bronzers (two of my favorites), but I’m excited to try thus forums again!
I’ve never tried either but I just got the fenty cream one. Literally yesterday. The powder one was too orange on me so hopefully this will be better
The powder bronzer from Fenty is one that gets better over time, but I agree that it leans quite orange. It looks wonderful when paired with a cool-toned contour!
I literally never contour so it’s not an option for me ?
I’m a toss up. I have found some on the lower end that I like and some on the higher end that I have to really talk myself into buying. I love colour pop products! They have a great formula and are definitely affordable!
I love them too, but I can’t access them easily here in Europe ☹️
I’m not a big user of blush, but I definitely splurge when it comes to highlighter. I feel like it makes a huge difference with how it looks on my skin and more flawless on the pricier brands.
Totally agree! I never like affordable highlighters
This one is tricky for me! I don’t like spending too much on those products, BUT I’m sure I could spend a lot of money for a great highlighter if I set my mind on one! ?
Ahahahah I really like the Fenty one, the duo because it’s easy to work with and you can tone it up or down depending on the occasion
my collection varies.. in terms of bronzer i’ve found an affordable that suits me better than other high end ones i’ve tried. i have also tried some really great affordable blushes but i think there are better high ends ones. as for highlighters, i have both affordable and high end. i guess it’s just a matter of preference.
These are the products that take a bit of research but the drugstore has some good ones too x
