I agree with you on the colors. I don’t think they’d look good on me, either.
Mimi dice
Yep no good at all!

This makes me realize I never use these cute lip crayons. I’ll have to try one soon! I like both these shades but especially the second one.
Mimi dice
They are very easy and comfortable to use!
Ashley Newton dice
I would definitely be torn simply because of the pricepoint, but I do love Honest products and clean beauty is super important!
Mimi dice
Agree! I definitely want to try more from the line
Patricia @ Grab a Plate dice
I agree with your description of how the colors look. I’m glad I saw this because I’ve been wondering about these! I may go for the balm, too!
Mimi dice
I definitely want to pick that up next

I really want to try crayons more often! They’re definitely trending now I feel like ?

Totally x

I love the Marsala on you! I’ve never tried Honest Beauty I do love the honey shade tho for me. I’m more of a nude girl 🙂
Mimi dice
Thank you ? I hope you’ll love it x

Marsala has my name all over it! I love a good, chunky lip crayon and these sound nice although if they’re drying, count me out.
Mimi dice
I find it way too drying on me, but the shade would look amazing on you ?
Erica dice
If it’s drying, I will skip it for sure! There are way too many lip products out there now to settle for something drying, I think.
Mimi dice
100% agree

So I’m actually obsessed with the color of Honey – do you ever wear a darker lip liner with a lighter lipstick or gloss? That is my favorite way to wear a nude lip like this!! Also, I wonder how Marsala would look if it was blotted to look more sheer?
Mimi dice
I’ll have to try with Marsala blotted. I do wear lipliner sometimes but it ages me terribly. It’s one of those looks I can’t really master. So I guess I could do it but chances are that I’d reach for something else. Jeffree Star Cosmetics Mannequin is my perfect nude. It’s light enough I should be wearing it with a lip liner but I can still can get away without without
The Newbury Girl dice
hmm the only other workaround (if you wanted to make it work) could be to try to pair Honey with a high shine gloss??
Mimi dice
I’ll see how it goes
Rebecca Allatt dice
I’m surprised at how different the colours look in the sticks compared to on the lips/swatches! Cute packaging though, very simplistic.
Mimi dice
Agree, I find that’s really my main problem with the line, the colours aren’t true
With love, Caroline dice
Hahaha I really don’t think it ages you ? the Marsala shades looks really good in my opinion, while reading your review, I was actually thinking that I might try it! ?
Mimi dice
Ahahaha my mom loves it, I just don’t like dark nudes on me ahah
Rossy Galaxy dice
aww i was thinking that honey was going to be a true peachy shade but it looks sooo light 🙁 i could never pull that off 🙁 such a shame, i like demi-matte formulas sometimes but you are right that they can be a bit off
Mimi dice
It was too light even for me and I love super pale nudes ahha
