Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Dior Addict Stellar Halo Shine Lipstick in the shade Cherish Star 384.
Apparently this year is all about the star in the middle of lipstick, right? If you need a refresher the YSL Rouge Volupte Rock’n Shine is the one I’m talking about.
Now I know I got another nude but this lipstick is quite sheer and creamy and I don’t like that kind of formula on darker shades because I’m afraid it will smudge everywhere.
I don’t feel comfortable wearing them but If you like it or you have a darker skin tone, the formula is the same for the entire line, I just thought I would pick up a shade I would actually wear.
You can get it from Sephora for 38$ and it comes in 15 shades.
The colour is a rosewood nude.
The packaging is perfection, everything from the box to the bullet, I love it. It has a star in the middle which is shimmery and it gives the lipstick a gorgeous shine.
The scent is amazing, I can’t put my finger on what it exactly smells like but it’s sweet.
FORMULA & APPLICATION
The formula is very creamy and it glides on really easily, it’s almost too creamy that it can melt if you are not careful, the finish is quite glossy and shiny.
The glitter is noticeable when it catches the light but, since the lipstick is already shiny, is nothing too exaggerated. It doesn’t feel gritty at all.
It feels quite hydrating and it’s quite easy to apply, even without a mirror.
This lipstick lasts for 2 hours on me (without eating), since it’s so shiny I wasn’t expecting an incredible lasting time, but you can reapply it really easily.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love this lipstick. The shade is the perfect nude for me. I like the formula since is so creamy and shiny, I adore the packaging, it’s comfortable and balmy, perfect for everyday wear. The lasting power is great for a sheer lipstick and overall I’m very happy with it. The formula is a bit too creamy to work well for the darker shades but for this colour is perfect.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
