La domanda di oggi è: “Quando ti trucchi, fai prima gli occhi o la base?”

Quando ti trucchi, fai prima gli occhi o la base?
Mimi: Inizio con gli occhi (senza però fare la rima inferiore o il mascara), poi faccio la base, sopracciglia e solo in seguito finisco gli occhi.
In questo modo posso essere disordinata quanto voglio con l’ombretto, poi pulisco eventuale caduta di prodotto o linee storte e infine creo una base pulita e omogenea.
Julia: Faccio prima gli occhi così posso ripulire la caduta di prodotto.

I usually do my base first, but this is just a habit. I start with my eyes when I do a more complicated eye makeup or use eyeshadows that have fallout (I’m looking at you, ABH).

I always always do my base first unless I know that I’m using a dark eyeshadow that produces a lot of fallout! Starting with my base feels like building the foundation on a house, while eyes are like adding the window trims lol.
Ahahha I used to do it too but I made the change a few years ago I changed the order and never went back
I usually do my eyes. I don’t put on a lot of makeup, but I do always put on eyeliner so I don’t look as tired.

Always the eyes first because I feel like I always get the powder all over my lashes so the mascara cleans that up.

I always do my base first. I see people do the eyes first and it makes me nervous to do myself. I need to just bring myself to try it sometime and see if it would actually be better than I think.
The opposite makes me nervous actually ahahha I couldn’t never do my base first
I always do my base first, then eyes, and lips last. I’m not even sure why, just seems to make sense to me that way. But I guess as long as you look good at the end, any way works.
It makes sense in theory but you are right whatever works for you
Eyes first always. It makes so much more practical sense to me to do it that way, because I always get some fall-out (not with creams obvs.). I never want to have to redo my base.

first eyes, then base.
there are some eyeshadows or glitter/shimmer shades that have fall out, whether a lot or a lttle, and it’s such a pain to fix the base if there is fall out LOL
there are the occasional shades which have no fall out, but i think i just got used to doing them first in case i don’t like the makeup i can take it right off and try again without disturbing the base or wiping it off accidentally 🙂 lol
Yeah same, I envy people who say: you can just wipe the fall out off, I totally can’t if I have a base on XD
