Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review of the L’Oreal Bambi Oversized Eye Mascara.
If you have been around for a while you’d know that the L’Oreal Bambi Lash is one of my favourite mascaras ever so when I saw this new version I had to try it.
You know I normally go with waterproof because they are the only ones that hold my curl but I’ve recently did an at-home lash lift so my lashes are currently very curled so I can test this mascara properly without having the issue of my lashes dropping.
It’s not available yet but you’ll be able to find it at Ulta for around 10$
The packaging is classic of mascara, kind of looks like a wing.
It has an conic silicone brush which is usually my favourite kind of brush because it allows to grab every lash and create a super defined and volumized look.
The formula has quite a liquid consistency but it’s not very black, actually, it’s almost gray.
EFFECT & APPLICATION
I always do two coats of mascara to get the best results. This mascara is quite lengthening and but doesn’t give much volume despite the name.
This is not the kind of look I like since it’s very lengthening but it gives zero volume to my roots so the final result is not for me.
It’s also terrible at holding a curl but since my lashes are lifted now, it’s not a problem anymore.
This mascara lasts all day on me without flaking or smudging.
I find it fairly easy to remove with micellar water, I don’t have the black halo around my eyes when I wake up.

- Packaging: 8/10
- Effect: 6/10
- Formula: 6/10
Sadly this mascara is not for me, I don’t like the effect on my lashes, I already have long lashes so I tend to prefer more volumizing mascaras. That, combined with the fact that wouldn’t normally hold a curl, makes it a pass for me. Just go with the regular Bambi Lash.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
