Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Natasha Denona Mini Retro Eyeshadow Palette.
I’ve got this palette after lusting after it for months, I have the Mini Zendo and I love it. I think that the quality of ND Mini palettes is far superior to her big ones.
If you know me, even a little bit, you know I love the tones of this palette, they are my everyday shades so the other day I’ve decided to treat myself.
You can buy it from Sephora for 25$.
Colour
This palette has 5 shades.
- Galaxia (light nude with green and blue sparks)
- Industrial (green taupe with silver reflect)
- 60s (greenish grey)
- Vintage Taupe (antique rose)
- Pixie (pink with champagne shift)
PACKAGING
The packaging is nice and practical. It’s not too fancy but it has a magnetic closure and it’s very sturdy.
It’s smaller than you’d think but I like how compact it is, I never finish eyeshadows so I don’t mind that the shades are tiny.

PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
The formula is quite soft and smooth especially when you swatch it, it has medium pigmentation. You have to build up the colour a little but I love that in an eyeshadow.
They aren’t patchy and the colour selection is beautiful and very classy. I absolutely LOVE how the shades blend together, you can see the separation between each shade but the effect still looks seamless.
The formula of the glitter is a bit hard but that prevents most of the fallout which is amazing for glitter.
APPLICATION
All the shades blend easily with brushes but I prefer to use my finger for the glitter.
SWATCH

LASTING POWER
With a primer, they last about 10 hours before creasing.
RATINGS:
- Colour: 9/10
- Longevity: 10/10
- Application: 9/10
- Formula: 8/10
- Pigmentation: 8/10
- Packaging: 8/10
GRADE: A–
This palette is beautiful. I know it’s only five shades but they are the kinds of shade I’ll use over and over again. You know I love glitters so I love to have the option in such a compact palette. The packaging is pretty, it blends like a dream, barely any fallout. I’m incredibly impressed by the lasting power too. Now I know it’s an expensive palette for what it is, do you need it? Of course, no. But if you are like me and like to treat yourself you won’t be disappointed.

I find this palette absolutely stunning, I love the shades and I actually love the size. Like you, I never empty eyeshadow palettes, so this is perfect
I’m eyeing the mini star next! They are actually so good!
I think the mini ND palettes are the way to go. Her bigger palettes are so ridiculously expensive and I never end up using all the shades. I feel the same way about the Huda palettes vs. her smaller palettes as well. Love these shades too!
Totally agree with you on huda! Her mini are so much better
