Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the elf Cosmetics Liquid Metallic Eyeshadow in the shade Little Dipper.
You think that since I didn’t particularly like the Liquid Glitter Eyeshadows I would avoid this one but I got sucked in by the image on the site and I really wanted to give it a go.
I’m going to leave you to the review, because I don’t think I have tried such a bad eyeshadow in ages.
You can buy it here for 5$

COLOUR
This shade is a shimmer rose gold.
PACKAGING
The packaging is a thick and relatively small tube in a hard plastic material. The shade name is written on the bottom. It is really nice and sturdy, I like it.
It has a flat doe foot applicator that I love, it picks up just the right amount of product.

FORMULA & APPLICATION
The formula is very sheer and and sparse. It’s honestly horrible, when you try to blend it it disappears into nothing, gets patchy and it creases after 1 hour.
The doe foot applicator allows an easy application and the shadow is easy to blend with the finger. You have time to move it around but it gets pachy super quickly.

LASTING POWER
I always have to wear an eye primer or my make up won’t last a minute. Even with cream shadows but I feel like most people would want to use it without. In this case I’ve tried both and the eyeshadow always creases after 1 hour which is unacceptable.
RATINGS:
- Colour: 6/10
- Longevity: 2/10
- Application: 3/10
- Formula: 2/10
- Pigmentation: 2/10
- Packaging: 9/10
GRADE: F
This is one of the worst eyeshadows I’ve ever tried, the formula is watery, patchy, sheer and it creases. The colour if looks promising in the packaging but it doesn’t transfer on the lids. The packaging is the only thing I like but this product is not worth 1$ let alone 5$.

Oh no. I like the color, but I always have mixed reviews with Elf. It’s cheaper so sometimes it works and other times like this, not so much!
Definitely a fail!
This is a bummer! The patchiness is not good at all
So awful x
Appreciate the honesty of this review. It’s to bad the quality was not good as the color is quite pretty!
It was so disappointing
Wow, how disappointing! Next!
So bad right?!?
