Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review of the Maybelline Sky High Mascara.
It has been a while since a mascara was this hyped and I was thrilled to try it myself because I don’t have the most forgiving lashes and even popular mascaras don’t always work on me.
Remember that I had a lash lift which doesn’t influence the performance of the mascara, it just acts as a constant curl, my lashes are very heavy and all mascaras weight them down but with it my lashes stay curled all day.
It took me forever to get it but you can find it at Ulta for 11,49$
PACKAGING
I absolutely LOVE the packaging, I mean, pink is my favourite colour so what were you expecting?!
The spooly is a standard size silicone applicator with a slight cone shape.
FORMULA
The formula is not too thick or too liquidy, it’s almost gel-like and very black if you are not careful it tends to transfer on your lids when you apply it. But once it dries it doesn’t smudge or flake off.
EFFECT & APPLICATION
I do two coats to get the best results but if you like to do more you can definitely build this mascara up without the spidery effect. Overall I think two coats are more than enough the get the best result.
This mascara is very lengthening. It also volumizes the lashes but it’s not the most volumizing mascara I own.
It’s not clumpy therefore I love it on the lower lashes too, which rarely happens.
LASTING POWER
This mascara lasts all day on me without flaking or smudging.
I find it fairly easy to remove with miceallar water, I don’t have the black halo around my eyes when I wake up.

I absolutely adore this mascara, I actually got compliments on my lashes when I wore it because they are super long and voluminous. I can’t believe I’m saying this but this mascara is definitely worth the hype. Definitely one of my favourites from Maybelline.

They have a waterproof version available but this one isn’t
I like how black this mascara is and I feel like it looks great on other people but it’s not my favourite. I prefer a clumpier lash though

I ended up liking this mascara more and more as the formula grew older, which is very interesting. I agree it’s so good for amazing length.

It’s still not my fave and I wouldn’t repurchase it, but it’s certainly not awful by any means. Just wish it was more volumizing.
