Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the RMS Beauty Buriti Bronzer.
I got this bronzer in the Sephora advent calendar and I’m not going to lie, it looked kind of scary because it’s very dark.
I’ve decided to try it anyway and it shocked me. RMS is a natural brand, I haven’t heard much of to be honest, but after trying this I definitely want to try more.
It only comes in this shade and you can get it here for 28$
COLOUR
It’s a medium bronze with golden shimmer, it’s the only shade available and while I think it can work for a lot of skin tones, it won’t work for everyone.
PACKAGING
The packaging is absolutely stunning and luxurious I totally love it.
It is this glass jar. It’s not super lightweight but it’s not heavy either and you have all the info in the back, honestly, is so beautiful I’m obsessed.
It comes in a cardboard box, I love it too.
PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
The formula is quite soft and smooth, it has a light–medium pigmentation. You definitely have to build up the colour which as I said in the past is my personal preference with face products and especially with creams.
It isn’t streaky or clumpy, it doesn’t enhance pores or texture and I like it both on top of powder or underneath.
It has a dewy finish that looks beautiful but won’t work on oily skin, that’s why I personally love to use it under a powder bronzer, I find that it gives a beautifully sculpted look that is not too aggressive and it lasts way longer.
APPLICATION
I use a contour brush it’s very easy to use. You can use your fingers but I find I have more control with the brush.

LASTING POWER
On me, it lasts around 8 hours before starting to fade which is awesome for a cream.

This bronzer is stunning, I didn’t expect to like it as much as I do, it makes you look naturally tanned, I prefer when face products are less pigmented because it helps to avoid the muddy-heavy effect but that’s ever more true with creams. The lasting power is amazing, especially under a powder. The colour is perfect for me and it will look good with any kind of look. I just wish there were more shades, even if since it’s so sheer it will work for a lot of people. I also love the packaging.
