Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Pixi Glitter-y Eye Quad in the shade GoldLava.
In one of her recent videos, Tati said these glitters were similar to the ones she had in her palette (which got discontinued, sadly) so I wanted to try them because hers are the best.
I actually kind of like that the palette is so compact and I definitely want the other shades this palette comes in.
You can buy it here for about 20$.
The packaging is cute but a bit cheap looking.
To be honest, this palette is not too pricey but it’s not too affordable either so I was expecting a bit more from the packaging.
The shade name is on the back, the individual colours don’t have a name, the palette has three versions each with four eyeshadows.
PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
All the shades have a medium to high pigmentation, they are really creamy and easy to blend. They have a bit of fall down, but that’s normal for glitters.
They are unreal. The formula is so creamy, not chunky at all. Once they are on the eyes they don’t move.
Glitters works best if you use your fingers and you press them on.
With a primer, they last about 8 hours before creasing.
- Colour: 10/10
- Longevity: 9/10
- Application: 8/10
- Formula: 8/10
- Pigmentation: 10/10
- Packaging: 7/10
I really like this palette. The colours are beautiful and it’s so compact you can pair it with any other palette. They are not the same as Tati, these have a bit more fall down, but they don’t crease and once you put them on they don’t move much. For the price, I highly recommend it.
