I have the shade Light-Medium which is described as pink undertones to brighten light to medium complexions. The shade works perfectly for me. I know 6 shades don’t seam like a lot, but it’s very sheer so each shade stretches A LOT.
The packaging is so pretty. I love the flat side because it doesn’t roll around when I’m getting ready. It has an oval metal applicator I absolutely adore, it picks up just the right amount of product and it’s very cooling.
The concealer is nice a liquidy when you first apply it. It’s really easy to blend, I use a damp sponge but your fingertip will work too, and once it sets it becomes a really nice natural finish. I have oily skin but mostly a dry under eye so this concealer is perfect for me. It’s a bit sheer to use on the face so it won’t work for that. It has light to medium coverage, but somehow it covers perfectly without looking heavy or cakey.
I love the applicator. The metal tip is very cooling and it disperses the perfect amount of product. I then use a sponge to blend it and it works amazingly on me.
I usually use a powder on top I find that with a powder it doesn’t crease on me. It will last all day long.
Final Thoughts on the Rare Beauty Positive Light Under Eye Brightener:
I love the Rare Beauty Positive Light Under Eye Brightener, I love the shade, it’s perfect for me and it brightens so well. The formula is amazing, hydrating yet long lasting, it doesn’t crease (once you set it, which I always do anyway) and I love the application process. To me this is the perfect everyday product. I can’t use it on my face, but to be honest, I rarely have blemishes my foundation doesn’t cover on its own so it has never been a problem.
