Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatches of the Pat McGrath Labs Perma Precision Liquid Eyeliner.
Apparently this is the eyeliner that Taylor Swift uses in her Eras Tour and if it’s good enough for the eyeliner queen, it is good enough for me as well. Since the whole Rare Beauty Eyeliner fiasco, I needed something good, pronto. And since eyeliner is basically the only eye product I wear daily, I didn’t mind the splurge (also, high-end pen liners tend to dry less quickly than affordable ones, so in the long run they are worth the investment in my opinion).

Water, Methylpropanediol, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Styrene/Acrylates/Ammonium Methacrylate Copolymer, Cellulose, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Coco-Glucoside, Poloxamer 407, BHT, Citric Acid, Phenylpropanol, Sodium Laureth-12 Sulfate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Phenoxyethanol, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Benzyl Alcohol, Black 2 (Ci 77266) [nano].
The packaging is so pretty and simple. I like that it is so minimalistic. The applicator is a felt tip, which I definitely prefer because it makes the eyeliner so easy to use and to create the tiniest line.
The formula is very liquidy, not to the point that it bleeds, but it’s easy to apply and it doesn’t drag the lid. It’s very black and matte, which is practically a miracle in the pen liner department. It works so well.
The applicator is tiny enough to be precise but big enough to not require a lot of layering which can make the line too thick.
When I use liquid liner I tend to skip primer so it has to last well without it (on me that’s a mission). This liner lasted 12 hours without smudging or bleeding but it’s still easy to remove.
Final Thoughts on the Pat McGrath Labs Perma Precision Liquid Eyeliner
The Pat McGrath Labs Perma Precision Liquid Eyeliner might be the best eyeliner I’ve ever used, you can definitely see that is a makeup artist brand. I love the colour, the packaging and the way it applies. I think the lasting power is amazing too. It is the most matte pen I’ve ever tried. Overall I’m very impressed. With this eyeliner I always make the line I want to make, if that makes any sense, if I want a thin line, I can easily make a thin line, if I want a thick one, I can easily make a thick one. You have so much control. You need it, period, especially if you are a beginner.
I really hope you guys enjoyed the post, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know what you think and if you have any questions.
