Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Catrice Power Plumping Gel Lipstick in the shade 110 I Am The Power.
You guys know how I am with plumping products, I love to use plumping glosses and you know I love the Catrice one so I was excited to try the lipstick version.
It comes in 13 shades and you can get it here for 6,20$
COLOUR
The colour is a dark nude.
PACKAGING
The packaging is pretty but very cheap. The lipstick is very thin which I kind of like because it makes putting the product on easier and more precise, the shade number is at the bottom but it doesn’t say the actual name.
On the lipstick, there is a cute quote that says “Be Brave” which is such a nice touch. Catrice often does this, they did it on their blushes too.
The scent is nice, I can’t put my finger on what it exactly smells like but it’s sweet.
FORMULA & APPLICATION
The formula is very creamy and it glides on really easily, the finish is quite glossy and shiny.
It doesn’t tingle like most plumping products do and it doesn’t volumize much but it smooths on the lips so they appear bigger.
It feels quite hydrating and it’s quite easy to apply, even without a mirror.
SWATCH
LASTING POWER
This lipstick lasts for 2 hours on me (without eating), since it’s so shiny I wasn’t expecting an incredible lasting time, but you can reapply it really easily.
RATING:
- Colour: 8/10
- Longevity: 8/10
- Application: 9/10
- Pigmentation: 9/10
- Formula: 6/10
- Packaging: 6/10
GRADE: B+
This lipstick is very nice. The formula is great even if it’s not super volumizing, so if you get it for that you’ll be very disappointed but if you want a nice everyday lipstick you’ll love it. The packaging is nothing special but I like that is thin and easy to use and the quote on it is cute. For the price I recommend it but it’s not a must have.

That’s such a universally flattering shade that I’d probably get so much use from. Love the little positive saying on the lipstick bullet! I must try Catrice one of these days!
Mimi dice
I bet you’ll love the formula!
Katja dice
Does it contain menthol? Because many plumping lip products do.
The Newbury Girl dice
I’m always a sucker for imprints on bullet lipsticks. It adds such a cute touch. I was curious to see how this lipstick would work in terms of plumping effects. Even though it wasn’t as plumping, the glossy finish is super beautiful!
Mimi dice
Thank you! It doesn’t tingle but it looks plumped, like it makes the lips smoother so they look plump! Weird, but cute!

wow the color is really nice 😀
i’ve heard good things about this brand too, especially one of their foundations?

Never tried them, I prefer to splurge for those or still go with L’Oreal if I have to save because my skin doesn’t react to them.
