In today’s post, Julia and I are going to chat about the MAC Shine Pretty Little Things Collection.
This is going to be their holiday collection, actually, their holiday collection also includes sets and kits with mini brushes or make up samples but those come out every year and they are not really exciting in our opinion.
This collection includes: five lipsticks, five glosses, two highlighters, five eyeshadows and four eyeliners.
NEITHER JULIA NOR I HAVE TESTED THIS PRODUCTS SO OUR OPINION ARE PURELY BASED ON WHAT WE KNOW FROM THE BRAND AND WHAT WE SEE ONLINE, OF COURSE WE MIGHT BE WRONG SO PLEASE IF YOU HAVE TRIED ANY OF THESE PRODUCTS LET US KNOW IN THE COMMENTS
This collection is already available in stores and on maccosmetics.com
It comes in five shades: Just Chilling (grey with silver sheen), Major Win (ash pink with silver shimmer), Joy To (grey brown with shimmer), P For Pink (rose gold with silver sparkle), Make A Wish (tarnished olive shimmer) (21$ each)
Mimi: These shades are STUNNING, all of them, the more pinky ones are right up my alley so I can’t wait to see them in store!
Julia: Silver: incredible, bronze same, gold too olive I want and the brow is pretty too! They pretty but maybe too glittery, I think they would be a bit stiff.
It comes in four shades: A Little Moonlight (black with silver and gold pearl), Statuesque (true silver shimmer), Midnight Toast (midnight blue with silver pearl), Holiday Time (gold with pink shimmer) (22$ each)
Mimi: They are very pretty but not my favourite piece from the collection.
Julia: I like these liners too, the blue one is so cool.
It comes in five shades: Tudor Rose (hot magenta with pink pearl), Ice Orchid (mid-tone cool pink), Scarcely Senn (light beige pink), Cake Top (pinky peach with icy shimmer), Rosebuddy (deepened berry) (18,50$ each)
Mimi: These look stunning, the second shades it’s screaming my name, I might need it in my life.
Julia: These are all beautiful apart from the burgundy.
It comes in five shades: Both Cheeks (bright matte fuchsia), A Wink Of Pink (mid-tone rose pink with bronze-gold shimmer), Babetown (dirty beige pink), At Leisure (pink beige with gold pearl), Straight Fire (metallic true red) (19,50$ each)
Mimi: I’m so going to buy the third shade, it’s like, my perfect everyday shade I can see myself living in it but I also love the red, I will take a look at that too.
Julia: I want A Wink Of Pink, it looks like Orgasm from Nars, the beige and the nude I don’t like and the other two are STUNNING.
It comes in two shades: Oh Darling (metallic gold), Snowflushed (metallic bronze pink) (35$ each)
Mimi: 10+ on the packaging, GORGEOUS but the shades are not my cups of tea so I think I’ll pass.
Julia: I like them, from the packaging they look stunning but maybe they are too glittery.
