Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Chanel Baume Essentiel Multi-Use Stick in the shade Rosee.
I’ve been loving cream blushes this year and this shade looked so pretty in the tube. It’s part of their Fall collection too.
It’s a multi use stick so you can use it on the face and on the lips. I’ve only tried it as blush.
You can buy it here for 45$.
COLOUR
This shade is a golden peachy pink.
PACKAGING
The packaging is really small and travel-friendly, good to take around for touch-ups, although I wouldn’t suggest to stripe it on because it’s not very sanitary.
The shade is written on the bottom and it twists completely up and down which is awesome because you don’t risk ruining it.

PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
I don’t like this formula, it has a very sheer pigmentation which is not ideal as you can barely see it and it’s also a bit sticky.
It stays wet and looks like a balm which could be nice for photos but very unpractical for day to day life. It also breaks the foundation underneath and enhances texture.
Maybe if you have really dry skin but honestly, there’s so much better out there that’s not as fussy as this.
APPLICATION
I put it on the back of my hand and apply it with a brush.
SWATCH

LASTING POWER
On me, it lasts around 2 hours without fading.
RATINGS:
- Colour: 7/10
- Longevity: 4/10
- Application: 4/10
- Formula: 6/10
- Pigmentation: 5/10
- Packaging: 7/10
GRADE: D+
This blush is a disaster, I like the shade and the packaging but as a blush is awful, you might have better luck using it as a lip balm but that’d make it a very pricy one and there are better options out there anyway. The formula is too glossy and wet, it doesn’t last at all and on top of that, is very sheer you can barely see it. I’d stay away from this.

Yikes! Definitely won’t be trying this one. It does remind me more of a lip balm than a blush.
Yeah it’s so bad
I will avoid this one for sure! For that amount of money, it should work perfectly.
Agree!
Yikes, I will be avoiding this one. I thought it looked like such a lovely colour too, so it’s a shame about the formula xx

Agree! It’s a mess
I rarely use these type of products and based of this review I’ll definitely steer clear of this one. It’s unfortunate because the color is so pretty!
Agree! But it’s awful
Really does look more like a balm than blush. I always love your honest reviews!
Thank you 💕
Aw what a shame this turned out to be such a disaster. I’m not a fan of cream cheek products that stay sticky or balmy – except maybe a glossy-looking highlighters.
Also, I feel like I rarely use multi-use products for multiple uses. I usually pick one way to use a product and stick to it – especially because our mouths have so much bacteria that I don’t want to spread on my face.
Exactly, I rarely do that too x
Oh gosh, as a blush that looks tragically bad! Since it’s multi-use, could you use it any other way that would work? Maybe on the lips?
Yeah but that would make it a very expensive lip balm 😂
Oh, most definitely! Just thinking of ways you can still use it since it’s already in your collection…
Oh no, luckily it was borrowed so my friend can use it 😂😂
Oh, that’s good!
