Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the elf Cosmetics SRSLY Satin Lipstick in the shade Nectar.
Apparently, these lipsticks are a favourite from the brand and my friend LP from The Newbury Girl recommended these to me.
Not going to lie, this shade is not what I normally choose and it’s not what I was expecting.
You can buy it from Ulta for 3$.
The shade is a medium terracotta.
The packaging is very cheap, I mean is a 3$ lipstick so I wasn’t expecting much.
It has plasticky scent, which isn’t exactly pleasant but it’s not overpowering.
The formula is a satin, it’s very creamy and smooth, it’s not patchy and it doesn’t settle into fine lines but after a couple of hours it create that ugly white line at the centre of the lips which means I have to take it off and reapply it often.
It’s very comfortable to wear and it’s not drying.
The shade looks awful on me, it’s way too orangy but that’s more of a personal preference than a problem with the lipstick itself.
It has the potential to last 4/5 hours without eating but I find that after about 2 hours it creates that ugly milky line in the center of the lips so I have to remove it and reapply it.

This lipstick is nice, despite the fact I don’t like the shade on me, but I hate the white line, it makes it super unpractical and I’m always concerned that it’s coming out. It really looks gross. And I hate the scent. It isn’t the worst lipstick I’ve tried but it’s not one I’d recommend, there are affordable ones I like so much better.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
