Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Revlon PhotoReady Cheek Flushing Tint in the shade Starstruck 003.
I feel like since the Rare Beauty came out, these kinds of blushes have exploded all over the beauty world.
I had a sample of one of those and it was a bit too pigmented for my tastes. I made a mess but I love the concept and I wanted to give this one a go.
It comes in three shades and you can buy it here for 10$.
This shade is a peachy coral.
It comes in a plastic tube like a gloss, it’s not the most sanitary packaging but it feels very nice. The shade name is on the bottom and the tube matches the shade inside.
You have to apply it with the doefoot applicator that kind of looks like a spoon.
PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
The formula is quite sheer like a gel, it has a light–medium pigmentation. Despite the bright colour it’s not too intense and it gives a beautifully naturally flushed effect.
It isn’t streaky or clumpy, it doesn’t enhance pores or texture and I like it both on top of powder or underneath.
I use a stippling brush that’s not too dense and it’s very easy to use. You can use your fingers but I find I have more control with the brush.
On me, it lasts around 8 hours before starting to fade which is awesome for a cream.
- Colour: 10/10
- Longevity: 9/10
- Application: 9/10
- Formula: 9/10
- Pigmentation: 9/10
- Packaging: 10/10
This blush is stunning, it looks like you are naturally flushed, I prefer when blushes are less pigmented because it helps to avoid the clown effect but that’s ever more true with liquids. The lasting power is amazing. The colour is perfect for every day and it will look good with any kind of look. For that price is actually a steal.
