Dior Backstage Face & Body Powder-No-Powder | Review

Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Dior Backstage Face & Body Powder-No-Powder.

I wanted to try this powder for so long and since I’m almost out of my Charlotte Tilbury one I’ve decided to give it a go. Apparently, the two are very similar.

I love the Dior Backstage line so I was excited to try it.

You can buy it here for 40$, I got the shade 2N and it comes in 9 shades.

PACKAGING

The packaging is more minimal like the Backstage line is, I love it. It’s sturdy and compact which makes it easier to carry around.

The only downside for me is that it doesn’t have a mirror so you can carry it around for touch ups.

FORMULA

This face powder is very finely milled and almost creamy. It doesn’t look cakey or heavy.

It’s slightly tinted, but it doesn’t change the colour of your foundation or your concealer.

EFFECT

This powder looks amazing on my skin. You can see in the picture how much my pores are minimized. My face looks and feels like a rose petal, especially from the distance.

It’s not completely matt and it gives the skin a beautiful healthy effect, but it never looks cakey or powdery.

It lasted for about 7 hours before I had to reapply it.

GRADE: A

I love this powder. The effect is beautiful, and the longevity is quite nice. The packaging is divine. I tend to prefer loose powders because I like to bake my concealer but I’ve been using this all over my face, to wipe off the bake and to touch up during the day. I love it, it layers beautifully and it’s never cakey. Guarantee, it’s expensive but if you have the budget, it’s an incredible product.
